// SCALE
In this tutorial I will show how to model a common plastic box in Cinema 4D using simple hard surface modelling techniques. You can download a project folder with two project files. both files contain the reference images we will be using, so we can get started right away. You can download the project folder here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jjfv9khuoam9ljh/Plastic%20Box%20-%20Project%20files.7z?dl=0 I hope you'll enjoy the video. Thanks for watching! At the end of the video I am using two pluging for texturing and rendering the object. These plugins are optional and available here: Nikomedia Scene Rig https://nikomedia.at/nikomedias-scene-rig-ultimate/ Greyscalegorilla Texture Kit Pro: https://greyscalegorilla.com/downloads/texture-kit-pro/ Cheers contrafibbularities

Consider supporting us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/FilmmakerIQ Darken, Lighten, Soft Light - every program has them but do you really know what they all do? We explore the mathematics of blend modes found in After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and others using 3d visualization to try to gain some insight into what all these modes do.

// IBM
With the launch of a new visual language, typeface and robust set of tools, IBM has taken the ambitious step of not only refreshing their brand but reinventing their entire approach to design. Its foundation is a philosophy that informs all of their decisions - a way of thinking about design, and the responsibility it holds. A team of our own self-identified design nerds partnered with the IBM Design team to develop this series of animations that live within the Design Language repository. Written, designed and animated with rigorous adherence to their system, each short illustrates and embodies the IBM Design Language, functioning as a bridge between principle and practice. // LIFE OF SIN
Expressions in AE | After Effects Expressions are very useful and challenging but most of them involve a little math and physics to create some Physical simulations and one of the most interesting expression is Math.sin() or Math.cos() which we are going to explain in this tutorial to draw different sine waves.

Good info for using wave expressions.

// PAINT
All That Glitters brings one of this season's most enticing records 'I'll Wait For You', featuring Chaz Mason on vocals. All That Glitters - I'll Wait For You (feat. Chaz Mason) is OUT NOW on Spinnin' Deep! Like this track?

From Reddit user u/Lucastor34:

"To do that effect I basically bought some stock photo of paint, then add some turbulence displacement, do the same for all layers except one where I put the saturation down to zero, level up the contrast, set a luminance matte, put it on top of everything, and boom!

for the planet, just a turbulence displace, small gradient to give it depth, cut it all in a circle.

Add some particle worlds (particular), light camera movement, some color grading and there you go ! No need for a messy paint setup !"
